i bought my car in 2001 its a 2000 hyundai sonta. We got the extended warranty with it 10 year 100,000 miles. We have had mild problems with it nothing it bad. Now it 2009 less than 80,000 miles one of the pistons have a hole in it and it needs a new motor. The warranty (insurance place) does not want the cover. What do you do? The shop says its not my fault and so did one of there insurance warranty people but they are still giving us a hard time. I can't afford to buy a new car today or pay all the cost of them taking the car apart twice. So two different insurance people could look at it. I love my car it has done good for me all these years but the warranty does not back like they are suppost to.
Konnie,
Sorry to here you’re having such a tough time. A Few questions for you; why are they denying the claim, did you keep your maintenance records, and have you called the warranty company directly. You can email me at mike@100000andbeyond.com and I will see if I can help you out.
